Frozen 3 has been confirmed to be on the way by Disney.
Disney made the announcement at D23, the company’s expo in California where it outlines its entertainment slate for the coming two years.
The news was hardly surprising, with the first film being a cultural juggernaut, and Frozen 2 making almost $1.5 billion at the box office.

As if announcing a third film was on the way wasn’t enough, Disney also hinted that a fourth film was in the works.
This is due to Disney stating that they may need two films to answer the multitude of questions asked in Frozen 2.
The third film is set to release in 2027.
