Olympian OnlyFans star who celebrated Bronze medal with x-rated gesture explains why she did it

The Canadian athlete that celebrated her bronze medal with a rather unorthodox celebration shall we say, has spoken out about the incident.

Alysha Newman is a pole vaulter that took home her country’s first Olympic medal in the pole vault since 1912, an outstanding achievement that is already noteworthy news.

However, the 30-year-old is known for her content on OnlyFans, with fans probably more than aware of the reasoning behind her drop in uploads over the past few weeks, as she competes at the pinnacle of sports competitions.

Her bronze medal achievement is the first ever for Canada in the women’s event, and the athlete was quick to celebrate with a small tribute to her loyal subscribers in the adult industry, following her performance on Wednesday (7 August).

Newman impressively cleared a height of 4.85 metres in her second attempt, just being beat to gold by Australian Nina Kennedy, while USA’s Katie Moon took home the silver, having cleared the same height on her third attempt while Newman failed to do so.

A medal is a medal though, as Newman jumped straight off the mat to celebrate her groundbreaking achievement for her native, as she ran in front of a cheering crowd.

The athlete looked to have hurt herself after the event, holding her hamstring, though it was all a ruse as she set herself up for the X-rated celebration. She bent her legs, put her hands on her thighs and started to twerk – a celebration that has since gone viral.

She enjoyed the shock of the audience, giggling as she carried out the celebration, though BBC commentators were lost for words, simply saying: “I’m not sure about that celebration.”

Clearly care-free, the Olympic medallist spoke about her bronze medal performance to TSN, saying: “I’m so excited.

“I laugh because getting third is, I mean I’ve never got third, but it’s funny because you have to still wait and sit there and wait until the other girls are done.

“So I’m so awkwardly standing there like, ‘What do I do? Do I celebrate? Do I kiss everyone? Do I cry?’

“It was a really surreal moment and it was awesome. I just feel like I’m very emotionally stable right now and just feel so honoured to be the first (women’s) pole vaulter to bring home an Olympic medal for Canada,” she concluded.

Newman has also opened up on her use of the adults-only platform, in an interview with German publication BILD.

She explained: “I post a lot of my training sessions, talk about nutrition and lots of tips and tricks.

“I earn money with what I post – you have to log in to find out. It makes me confident and I feel good about it,

“Of course, many people have a certain cliché when they think of OnlyFans. I can’t change many people’s minds,” she admitted.

“But this website has connected me with many fans, more than any other pole vaulter before.

“What others think about it doesn’t bother me. I am who I am and I do it well,” Newman concluded.
